Foods that will ruin your Sexy Diet

Foods that will ruin your Sexy Diet

This article is dedicated not only to my friends who are undergoing a diet right now. This is for all dieters out there coz’ you might be eating the wrong food aside from the forbidden food for your diet that you already know. In fact, you might be eating foods that will ruin your sexy diet. Uh-huh, close that open mouth. There are foods that you think is okay for your diet but you’re wrong. There’s more to dieting that you should know.

·       Green Bananas

We all know that bananas are great pre workout snacks but make sure that the one you’re eating is ripe! Unripe or green bananas are not a good idea before you work out for it could cause bloating and uncomfortable gas. So choose a banana that’s completely green-free.

·       Smoothie

If you think that fruit and yogurt can’t be bad… Sorry but you’re wrong. Smoothies are usually made with ice cream, milk and crammed with sugar. And smoothies are listed on the menu for people who want to gain weight. Unfortunately, smoothies are a concentrated source of calories. Instead of buying a smoothie, just blend your own smoothie. All you need is a real fruit, ice and of course, the blender.

·       Cereal/Granola/Protein Bars

Cereal/Granola/Protein bars are packaged and marketed as if they are the answer to the hunger pangs of dieters. But, what dieters should know is the fact that many of these cereal bars are still high in sugar and fat that could be bad for you just as bad a bar of chocolate. Plus, granola is high in carbohydrates and studies show that eating a super high in carbohydrates breakfast will lead to an increased appetite throughout the day. But not all cereal/granola/protein bars are bad for your diet. Just make sure to check the packaging and see if the bar’s content is all it promises to be.

·       Hard Boiled Eggs
Hard boiled eggs may be a great source of protein. However, they don’t provide carbohydrates for energy and the proteins that they give only stays in the stomach. Meaning, hard boiled eggs take a long time to digest and could weigh you down at the gym.

·       Peanut Butter
Peanut Butter’s labeling says "reduced fat". Dear Readers, don't be fooled by its labeling. Peanut butter may be naturally cholesterol free, sodium-low and contains protein and carbohydrates. However, the spread also contains ingredients that’ll set your diet back.

·       Spicy Foods

Spicy hot foods help burn up more calories. However, these kinds of food won’t help you burn more if you eat them before your workout. Plus, they could cause heartburn in the aftereffect into the esophagus.

·       Muffin

Muffins have too much oil and butter that doesn’t leave your stomach quickly and will make you feel bloated.

·       Avocados

The tasty avocadoes are nutritious but they contain 30 grams of fat. In fact, with the fat it contains, it’s given the nickname, “butter pear”. The good thing about its fat is… it’s the good kind of fat. It lowers cholesterol but you should go easy eating avocadoes. Don’t eat too much of it because it can also cause cramping and discomfort.

·       Energy Drinks

Energy drinks or vitamin waters are carbonated and full of sugar that could lead to bloating and fatigue. Plus, these energy drinks will not keep you hydrated. And that only means that they are not good for you and for your workout.

·       Orange Juice

A glass of orange juice delivers vitamin C and other vital nutrients. And with that, it seems like a good idea to take a gulp of OJ before morning workout…  Oooops, that’s wrong. It’s true that they provide vital nutrients and vitamin C but it’s better to eat an orange instead of gulping it. Coz’ a medium-sized OJ glass contains as much 200 calories and by gulping it, it refills a serious dieting hazard. Even 100% freshly squeezed fruit contains a lot of sugar and no fiber.

·       Milk/Dairy

Dairy products like milk, cheese and yogurt are good sources of calcium that helps to keep our bones and teeth strong but you should monitor your dairy intake it includes a lot of calories. Plus, consuming a low-fat dairy before workout could slow you down.

·       Nuts

Nuts have a high very fat, mainly monounsaturated fat that is that has been shown to lower cholesterol and help prevent heart disease. However, you still can’t eat too many for you might find it harder to lose weight. Plus, it could take a long time to digest it. But to keep you going, you should try Brazil nuts, macadamias, walnuts and almonds and by the way, SALT is a BIG NO-NO.
