Way, way back, luxury of women came in the form of jewelries. These days, luxury does not concentrate on jewelries anymore. How? Well, when high-end fashion houses released expensive designer bags, the jewelries found a competition.
We all know that women love bags, purses, pouches and especially handbags. The handbag fashion was introduced in the 19th century. And from then on, the handbag became an important item in the women’s wardrobe.
Women can’t get enough of handbags lately. With so many beautifully designed handbags released in the fashion industry, I really can’t blame them if they’re tempted to collect more and more. And with the handbag mania going around, I decided to check out for the 10 most can’t afford handbags. And the prices are really “posh”. And believe me, women who love handbags would definitely want these added on their handbag collections, but sorry to say it’s gonna cost you a lot. And some people would think, why the hell would I spend that much money for just a handbag? Well, I don’t know either.

The name itself tells about its price. You really wanna know how much? Force me first, and I will tell you….
Alright, I give up, but don’t blame me for telling you the price (remember you just forced me to tell you the price). It’s worth $3.8 Million. :P
This handbag was designed by The House of Mouawad, who is based in Dubai. It horrifyingly features 4,500 diamonds with a total carat weight of 381 carats. The diamonds consist of a hundred and five yellow ones, fifty-six pink ones, and four thousand, three hundred, thirty nine colorless ones. What do I think about it? I think I’d rather buy tons of dresses worth $3.8 Million than this handbag. Hey, why hassle my brain, I don’t have $3.8 million anyway. Ha-ha!
2. Hermes Platinum Birkin
Another expensive handbag encrusted with the girl’s bestfriend, diamonds. This handbag was sold for $1.9 million, a couple of years ago. It was designed by Ginza Tanaka. And presently, the value of this small bag has most likely increased. It has 2,000 shining diamonds and the body is made of platinum. The pear-shaped center diamond has 8 carats, which can be detached and be worn as an accessory. Such as the handbag itself, it’s too small that you could wear it as necklace. Now, that’s what I call “3-in-1”. But if it’s that small, what could fit inside it?
3. Chanel Diamond Forever Classic
Well, I can tell that this handbag obviously have diamonds in it, too. Which perfectly makes sense since, bags and diamonds are the things that are embedded in a woman’s brain. First look at this handbag and you’ll say it’s just a typical handbag. Take a second and longer look and you’ll see that it has three hundred, thirty-four diamonds, amounting to 3.56 carats, with a beautiful white alligator skin and 18 carat white gold platinum. Its price tag? $260,150. (Well it’s better than $3.8million).
4. Lana Marks “Queen” Cleopatra
Every year, only one purse is made by the company, Lana Marks. This “Queen” Cleopatra purse was created several years ago. The handbag is encrusted with (of course) diamonds and white alligator skin. Why it’s a must-have? Because Lana Marks Cleopatra bags used very nice materials and their purses are rare. Aside from that, they look incredibly elegant and classy. No wonder why they became popular among elegant celebrities. Oh! And this purse’s price is $250,000.
5. Louis Vuitton Urban Satchel
Walk along the street with this bag, will make people who sees you, scratch their heads. They might think you’re an environmentalist-garbage-collector girl. But hey, it’s a Louis Vuitton bag! And Louis Vuitton only made 12 of these. And most of it is currently owned by celebrities. I don’t know if these celebrities don’t have a taste for fashion or they’re just a loyal customer of Louis Vuitton. And its price is a whopping $150,000. (Seriously? It’s that much with that trashy design?)
6. Hermes Matte Crocodile Birkin Bag
Another bag that features diamonds… Again. Though, the diamonds of this big bag isn’t that obvious since it’s located in the clasp. And of course, they won’t name it as a Crocodile Birkin Bag if it’s not made of crocodile skin, right? Yep, it is made of beautiful alligator leather. This bag sells for $120,000. And if you really want this design but you don’t have enough thousand dollars to burn, then worry no more. There are much cheaper versions of this bag, however, they don’t have diamonds (what do you expect?).
7. Leiber Precious Rose Bag
If you’re really into handbags, then you’re familiar with Judith Leiber. Why? Because Judith Leiber is a famous name associated with eye-catching crystal-encrusted bags. And this particular Precious Rose Bag really has a shape of a perfect rose. And, (you know what’s next) it has over 1,000 diamonds that weighs a total of 42.56 carat. Its appearance is in shining, shimmering pink color, so obviously the bag is designed with more than a thousand of pink sapphires and eight-hundred tourmalines. The bag’s precious gems and crystals are enough reason why it’s high-priced. Remember: Only 1 Precious Rose Bag exists in the world, which means you should buy it before anyone else gets it. That’s if you have thousands of dollars to spare.
